Why Collect Rainwater?

For starters its essentially free! Once you’ve started a rain-water catchment system, the amount of money you can potentially save is a pocket reliever! Also having a “rain savings” is a peace of mind in the case of a drought, city water contamination or a busted pipe.

Rainwater is the best for your garden and fruit trees love it! Tap-water contains high amounts of chlorine/chloramine, which can be harmful to plants. Rainwater has the best pH levels for plants. And unlike most well-water, rainwater is free from mineral salts, which can bind up nutrients so your plants cannot thrive. Read more here.

Why Stainless?

Durability!

Stainless steel does not rust like galvanized tanks nor is it made of plastics that will crack in a short time. With a stainless steel tank you never have to worry about these issues – stainless can last over a century!

Recycled Content:

Stainless steel is comprised of at least 75% recycled content. About 92% of all stainless steel gets recycled in the US. Unlike many plastic tanks, stainless is fully recyclable.

UV Resistance:

Over time, plastic tanks become brittle when exposed to sunlight, and break down in a matter of years. Also, even a black plastic tank allows some UV light to pass through, which gives algae a chance to grow in your tank. Reduce this exposure with a fully opaque tank, such as stainless steel.
